singin' songs
I spend a lot of time singing to John Mark. Whether he's taking a bath, rocking, getting his diaper changed or just playing on the floor, it seems I'm usually humming or singing something. A lot of times I like to sing whatever worship song is floating around in my head. Other times I will sing about what we're doing. The other day I remembered that my friend Lisa "re-wrote" Jesus Loves the Little Children for her son. I decided to do the same for John Mark, and this is what I came up with. Because John Mark is SO cool, we have to have 2 verses to encompass all our friends.

How cute!! That is a sweet song!
I sing "3 Little Monkeys Jumpin on the Bed" to Eric. He likes it when I do the deep doctor voice!
We also sing to country music on the radio, and he sings to me and dances and taps his hand on his leg!
He also likes soul music, Stevie Wonder (MoTown). And of course.. he likes to dance to Elvis! Who could resist!? :0)
i love it! :) i will have to add a second verse to logan's song to include some of his newer friends (like john mark!)
We sing a lot too! But two of our favorites are....
Jonas Jonas Jonas, Jonas, Jonas Kash. "repeated over & over!"
And....
When I think about Jesus, what he's done for me. When I think about Jesus, how he set me free. I can dance, dance, dance, Dance all night, all night! YEAH!
Both have to be sung very fast with clapping so that Jonas can dance to them, with his hallelujah hand up in the air, and his bottom out bouncing :o)
