34 Weeks & CH Baby Shower
Well, if you were wondering what the belly is doing these days, here you go. I had my mom take this picture last week before my shower in her backyard. I'm growing pretty much everyday, which I am taking as a good sign that my baby boy is growing in there too. I've started the every other week appointments, and in July I will go every week until he gets here. I'm excited and nervous and scared all in one. I want him to get here, because I SO want to know what he looks like and to know his personality... but at the same time I am a little nervous about my abilities to be a mother. I know God will give me exactly what I need when I need it, but sometimes I wish I could see that tangibly.
Other than being HOT all the time, I'm feeling really well. I still sleep through the night without getting up to use the bathroom, which I hear is a HUGE blessing... Sleeping is getting more uncomfortable, but I've found that just surrounding myself with pillows makes it a little easier! I'm still stretchmark free and don't have any varicose veins. I'm hoping this trend sticks for a few more weeks!! I slather on the lotion every morning... I've had some pretty intense heartburn too and that hasn't been fun. But really, I feel very blessed to have had such an easy pregnancy this entire time. Let's just hope it stays this way and is a sign for my delivery as well!
We also had a shower last Monday night at some friends in Central High. It was so much fun. I was really overwhelmed by the love that was shown to me. John Mark got a TON of good stuff- he's going to be the most stylish kid in town, that's for sure! Not to mention that it was a lot of fun seeing old friends. One of my favorite things was seeing all the girls I grew up with who are pregnant now too! Here's a group of pictures from this shower:

I miss you.
It's still hard for me to believe even though I KNOW you have a baby in there...
BFF is going to be a Mommy.
I want to be Aunt BFF (said in one syllable, of course!).
you look really cute! hope you've had fun at showers! i can't believe you don't have to use the restroom all night! lucky!
You have introduced me to pornography on the internet. I am sooooo embarassed. Maybe your sister can design you some clothes that will cover your big belly.
